This page explains how WheelofRandomNames handles information when you use the wheel, save a list, import a spreadsheet, share a link, or visit a page that includes Google AdSense.
Your wheels and results
The wheel app stores your entries, uploaded wheel images, settings, theme preference, and recent results in this browser’s local storage. It does not provide app accounts or cloud synchronization. Other browsers and devices do not automatically receive your saved wheels.
You can remove wheels and results using the app’s controls or clear this website’s data through your browser settings. Clearing site data can permanently remove saved wheels. Export a JSON backup first if you want to keep them.
Shared links and imported lists
Share links contain encoded names and settings. Any image added to the wheel is also included in its shared link or JSON export. They are readable by anyone who receives the link; encoding is not encryption. Shared copies do not synchronize with the original wheel. Avoid including private or sensitive information in a shared list.
Local list files are processed by the app in your browser. Fetching a Google spreadsheet sends a request to Google for the selected sheet. You can paste copied spreadsheet cells instead of fetching a link. Google Drive sign-in is not currently supported.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
This website includes Google AdSense code to connect to Google’s advertising service. Ads may appear after Google approves the site and advertising is enabled. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to provide and measure advertising and prevent fraud.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Other advertising vendors may also place and read cookies when serving ads.

Your advertising and cookie choices
You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool for choices offered by participating third-party vendors. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads.
When a consent message is displayed, use it to review available purposes and partners and accept or reject optional processing. Use the privacy or cookie settings link provided by the consent platform to revisit your choices. Availability can depend on your region and the advertising configuration.
You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking or clearing local storage may affect wheel saving. Browser controls and advertising opt-outs do not necessarily apply across all browsers or devices.
Hosting and external services
The hosting and delivery providers, including Hostinger, may process technical connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and timestamps to deliver and secure the website. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Requests to these services share technical connection information with their providers.
The wheel app does not intentionally include your saved list in an advertising request. Third-party services process information under their own policies. No cloud backup of your wheel is provided by the app.
